With impressive performance credits and a stellar sound, it’s hard to imagine that Courtney Dickinson just turned 14 this summer! This seasoned pro has performed a duet with Billy Ray Cyrus and opened for major label country artists including Kellie Pickler, Julianne Hough, Jason Aldean, Jimmy Wayne, Trent Tomlinson, Phil Vassar and Leanne Rimes.

Courtney has been performing live, entertaining tens of thousands of fans for almost a decade. A multi-talented performer, Courtney started her acting and modeling career as a toddler and performed on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry as the youngest member of the Little General Cloggers. At the young age of 6, she performed for President Jimmy Carter’s Birthday Celebration and performed in the Broadway tours of Annie and The Wizard of Oz in Georgia. A SAG actor, singer and songwriter, Courtney studied with top acting and voice coaches in Los Angeles and earned numerous credits in film, television, national commercials and print before returning to Nashville to focus on her music career.

In 2009, Courtney stepped into Ocean Way Studios in Nashville and magic happened. Recording the tracks for her debut EP, Taking Chances, this focused teen proved to have an amazing contemporary country and pop sound and vocals that will stand up to any chart topping artist. Taking Chances will be released on October 6th. With the release of her album growing close and the first single, “Falter,” debuting at radio, Courtney will be touring throughout the Southeast this Fall.

Courtney hasn’t stopped to catch her breath as she continues to prepare for the big day that so many fans, friends and supporters have been anticipating. She kicked off the summer with daily performances at the Legendary Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge during the 2009 CMA Music Fest and followed with a busy schedule of live events including the Annual Independence Day Celebration at Marietta Square in Georgia, Two Foot Fred’s Pre-Show for the Big & Rich Concert in Chicago, the NASCAR benefit for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and performing the National Anthem for the Atlanta Braves and entertaining tens of thousands at Turner Field with a pre-game concert. Courtney most recently shared her music at The Gap as part of the 40th Anniversary Celebration and largest simultaneous acoustic concert across the country!
