We’ve opened our doors to the public - Please pardon our appearance and content (or lack there-of) while we build the site.  Feel free to make yourself at home, explore and share your thoughts. 

 

What is Artist Rise? A free profile based community for the concert industry - From artists, fans, industry professionals and venues, to instruments, production, nostalgia and history - Artist Rise is for the culture and experience of live music. We have many unique features including a booking system that allows bands to receive performance offers through their profiles, just click “Book this Artist” on any profile.

 

Who are we you ask?  AR was founded by one guy in the agency business who decided to invest in an experiment and we have since assembled a great team to help us grow. There’s no corporate money behind AR and if you take a look around, you’ll notice something - no advertising. We want to keep the site pure.  As we grow, we’ll probably have to place some ads but we promise to maintain as little BS as possible.

 

Submit your thoughts. Our goal is to have unique member-generated content, so click the “submit” buttons on the homepage and send us your thoughts.  Please send us NEWS and EVENTS you want to share or perhaps write a RANT about the industry, we’ll post your thoughts asap.

 

Speak your Mind.  We want AR to represent the music scene, to be intelligent, entertaining and even controversial at times. Please use the discussion threads on each article and speak your mind. Since AR is an experiment, we plan to evolve based on your feedback - so please share your thoughts.

 

Book Shows Online. Artists can receive live performance offers directly through their profile pages just click the “Book this Artist” link and you’ll be taken to Virtual Booking.  We hope by giving Artists the means to receive offers from their profiles, that more bands will play live. In the future we plan to expand this system for an even higher professional level.

 

Why only NY & LA?  Anyone can join AR! We have nothing against other cities, we’re just starting small in the beginning to ensure real networking value.
