Marc was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, in May 1979. He grew up in Weymouth, Dorset. His passion for music started at the age of sixteen when his mother bought him his first guitar. He finally moved to London in 2000 to further his music career.

Marc started his music career in London, as a solo artist, playing a number of low key acoustic gigs in the Camden area of north London.

After more writing and recording, Marc enlisted Charles Roncoli to be his drummer. They have subsequently played a number of London venues in the last three years including, 12 Bar, Archway Tavern, Blag Club, The Boston Arms, Bull and Gate, Bullet Bar, Cobden Club, Dublin Castle, Hope and Anchor, Leonards, Metro Club, The Rock Garden, The Water Rat's and the Barfly

His main music influences are The Beatles, John Lennon, Paul Weller, The Verve and Richard Ashcroft. His musical strengths are well structured, original, finely crafted melancholic songs. He is a good live guitarist with excellent stage presence.

Marc was booked to play the 2009 Guilfest, but due to financial difficulties, one of the stage sponsors was forced to pull out and his appearance was cancelled. Marc also played at the 2009 Surface Unsigned Festival.

Marc has carefully constructed and continually updated his myspace site over the last three years or so and his profile views are now in excess of 21,000 and music plays on the site are currently in excess of 14,000. Marc has also recently constructed new sites on facebook and twitter.

Marc has worked with Deuce Management and Promotion & Caravan Music Promotions in 2008 and 2009. Subsequently his music was aired on many local radio stations both in the UK and the USA, receiving alot of positive feedback. His track 'My Soul' was played on Tom Robinson's BBC6 Music Introducing show and this play alone attracted interest from Vision Promotions who wanted to promote the song.

Marc Perrin was recently profiled in the first edition of a new London magazine called the The London Bug which was published in December 2009.
