The Spears debuted in 2007 with their “People are Bad” E.P/7”, and have since developed quite an underground following. Pushing the boundaries as far as genre and demographics go, The Spears are able to achieve what few other bands can by appealing to the metal scene, the punk scene, the hardcore scene, and straightforward rock n’ roll scene.Featuring Sam Williams from Down By Law on guitar, Rob Rampy of D.R.I on drums, Gary Strickland of Hated Youth on Bass, and the snotty, harsh, yet somehow lovable vocals of the “spit in your face” Pink Lincolns front man Chris Barrows.Their debut fifteen track full length album “Shove” is sure to know no boundaries when it comes to genre bending, hardcore, punk rock n' roll Their live show’s are typically packed with a mix of both newcomers to the scene, old school vets, and even metal fans. Regardless, the band churns out the sort of pure, unadulterated rock that hasn’t been seen in years and leaves a permanent mark wherever they play. Their debut full length (Shove) is due out September 15th(U.S) (14th in Europe) Their 7” release "People are Bad "is available now at independent retailers everywhere!.
