When Brad Lee Schroeder steps on stage, there is no doubt that he was born with rock and roll in his soul. This handsome Colorado native stands tall and commands attention with his energetic and passionate live performances. After a decade of performing on the rock circuit, winning several awards and often opening arenas for top recording artists, Brad gave in to his passion for country music.
In 2009, this passion culminated in the release of the self-produced debut album, Soul Survivor, which quickly established Brad as a diverse artist, blending tones of classic country, soul and gospel. This was easily recognized by the Denver market and regional radio. Brad garnered tour dates throughout Colorado, including performances at Grizzly Rose, the 2009 Academy of Country Music’s Venue of the Year.
When rave reviews of his live show poured in, Brad decided to head to the Capitol of Country Music - Nashville, Tennessee. One visit to Music City confirmed that Brad was traveling in the right direction. During his short stay, Brad performed on the stage of the famous Wildhorse Saloon, winning over fans and impressing his peers. After a whirlwind week of attending exclusive events and meeting with producers and songwriters, Brad flew home to Denver with plans to return to Nashville this fall to record at the award winning Ocean Way Recording Studios.
Later this year, Brad Lee Schroeder is slated to headline Share the Beat in Denver, to benefit the Redford Animaction Project, an initiative to help give young people a voice on the very important issue of organ donation. Share the Beat, established by James Redford, Robert Redford’s son, in 2003, uses the power of music and story-telling to raise awareness and funds for the transplant community. Since its debut in Los Angeles, this star-studded event has traveled to Boston, Sundance, Omaha, Salt Lake City and Atlanta.
