“Stealing the Sky,” formerly ‘The Band That Doesn’t Exist,’ is a pop-rock group
based in Oneonta, NY. The debut EP, "The Band That Doesn't Exist” (EP), was recorded
between August 2009 and September 2009 and the 5 song set was released on October
6th, 2009. The full-length album followed in February 2010 for free download across
multiple torrent sites and various means of digital distribution. The album has hit over
5,000 registered downloads as of November 2010.

Comparable to and influenced by bands such as Angels and Airwaves, The Red
Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Boys Like Girls, Stealing the Sky’s sound has many classic
pop-rock elements combined with more non-traditional vocal styles and harmonies.

The band consists of Mitch Rassman (vocals), Hal Galardi (guitar), Alex Auclair
(guitar), Brian Nentwick (drums), Brandon Heer (Keyboards), and Sean Rodden (bass).
“Stealing the Sky” has played multiple shows from Oneonta to Cortland, New York
including Rock the Cure benefit events and is currently scheduled to play SUNY
Oneonta’s upcoming Relay for Life and Guinness Record breaking World’s Largest
Soccer Game.
